Luctonians in the Community

On Sunday 24th August, Luctonians President John Bohan hosted a wonderful community gathering at Luctonians Cricket Club for a charity cricket match in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance.

Villagers from Hamnish and Kimbolton came together to form two teams, with batters, bowlers, and fielders of all ages taking part. The event truly captured the spirit of community – every player, supporter, and volunteer contributed something special.

Alongside the match, a raffle was held and an incredible tea was served for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of all involved, an outstanding £1,620.00 was raised for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who played, supported, donated, and helped organise this memorable day – proof once again of what can be achieved when a community comes together.

All of the money raised on the day will go towards Midlands Air Ambulance, a charity close to all of our hearts. This season Luctonians Charity Group has selected the Air Ambulance as one of their chosen charities and will spend the season raising vital funds.
