Luctonians in the Community

Mental Health

Luctonians has always understood the importance of supporting mental, physical health, and well-being as a club.

In 2022 we established a mental health and wellbeing action plan, which includes a group of Luctonians volunteers undertaking a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training Course.

In the early summer of 2025, another 10 volunteers undertook an MHFA England course, giving them the skills to approach, listen, and communicate non-judgmentally, to provide support and information, and encourage appropriate professional help. These volunteers are regularly seen at the club, in their local communities and are happy to be approached.
