In 2024 one of Luctonians U16s was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. In support of their teammate, Luctonians U16s took it upon themselves to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
They decided that a head shave would be their best way of raising funds and in April 2024 Managers, Coaches and Players all underwent the big shave. An incredible £5825.95 was raised for Teenage Cancer Trust.
To surprise the U16s a message was sent from an ex-Luctonian and current England Rugby star Tom Pearson. He and a number of other members of the current England Squad sent across their best wished to Owen and his team.

Teenage Cancer Trust offers unique care and support, designed for and with young people. They fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.
